Tempura Araki

Currently soft opening, very busy. Got there at 4:40pm, waited 30 minutes before I entered the restaurant and another 40 minutes before my order arrived.

I got the araki teishoku set (3 courses). Tempura doesn't come all at once. First course you get the set with two prawns and broccolini tempura. Dashi had a lot of grated daikon in it. Second course was corn and chicken. Third course was fish and eggplant, followed by kakiage.

Overall I enjoyed the tempura, pretty decent value. Tempura had a light batter as expected. Corn was interesting, never had it as tempura before. Eggplant didn't have much batter on it.

Hopefully service improves. Besides the slow service which was expected, they forgot to provide the fish and eggplant tempura, I had to remind them.
